Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery is a specialty concerned
with the medical and surgical treatment of the ear, nose, throat and
related structures of the head and neck. The specialty encompasses
facial plastic surgery and cosmetic reconstruction, surgery of benign
and malignant tumors of the head and neck, management of patients
with loss of hearing and balance, endoscopic examination of air and
food passages and treatment of allergic, laryngeal, thyroid and esophageal
disorders.
Also included are sleep disorders, snoring and surgical treatment
of the human voice. The medical and surgical treatment of
sinus disease are also included in our specialty.
Our paramedical staff consists of audiologists, nurses and medical
assistants. The audiologists are specialists trained to perform
special diagnostic hearing tests, and to rehabilitate the hearing
impaired. Our audiologists have Master of Arts or Doctorates
degrees and are licensed by the State of New York.
